John Franklin, Lead Guitar / Vocals
Born in Sleaford Lincs and “educated”in Bourne, Lincs, a grammar school education was of no consequence as I left before my mock O levels and went to Germany with my first pro group THE MANIAX. We worked in the American bases out there and then returned to the U.K.

Kevin Scott, Vocals / Acoustic Guitar
Was lead vocalist with Southampton bands, The Whirlwinds, The Kinsmen and Time. I first met Tony when I was still wet behind the ears and booked to sing a couple of songs with his band The Strangers. It’s a wonder he ever wanted to work with me again! I turned pro to join Wishful Thinking; John joined the group shortly after me.
